What To Bring On Your Fishing Expedition
High altitude sun can be very intense. We suggest that you wear and bring sunscreen and sunglasses. A light jacket or pullover can come in handy on cloudy or windy days. Snacks and drinks are allowed. Don’t forget your camera to record all your amazing catches of the day! Bigger grins and excitement are hard to find!
Fishing Licenses
A one day fishing license is required for all participants 16 years of age or older. A license can be obtained at any Walmart® or City Market® and many other locations. A driver’s license and Social Security number is required.

Transportation
Big Ed’s does not provide transportation. There are many great alternatives to getting to the Marina. Sometimes, area hotels provide transport, so be sure to ask yours about arranging a drop off/pick-up or utilize Summit County’s fantastic, free county wide shuttle service. Click this link to find more info about the Summit Stage. They have complete details and times that the busses run in Summit County.
Parking
If you rent a car or drive your own, be sure to remember that parking can be limited. There are two gravel lots on the hill just above the Marina office. If those lots are full, there is additional parking on Lodgepole Street, just outside of the Marina area. There is parking throughout the town that would require a short, stroll to the Marina.
