Here’s a little information about the Brown Trout. For anglers there is no greater prize than the elusive, predatory Salmo trutta. By Colorado trout standards, Browns are especially tough. They dart out from under logs and overhanging vegetation to devour unsuspecting meals such as grasshoppers, fish, and even mice! Browns spend their days hanging in the shadows of overgrowth and are truly camouflaged. We’ll try to give you a shot at landing one of these cagey fish.  Here in Summit County, we are blessed to have an abundance of wild Brown Trout.  The professional guides here at Big Ed’s will help you sort out the right place to hook one of these awesome predators!
