Stagecoach State Park sets the stage for great recreation in the lush Yampa Valley by Steamboat Springs. Vistas and views are backdrops to the 820-acre reservoir providing renowned lake and river fishing.

Join us at Stagecoach State Park, only 17 miles from Steamboat Springs, CO, for great trout and pike fishing, on our pontoon charter boats. Stagecoach Reservoir is well-known for its hard-hitting trout and Northern Pike fishing with large pike caught every year. There is also a growing population of Walleye. Stagecoach Reservoir is known for its fast-growing rainbows and a fantastic forage base.  All these factors combined allow Stagecoach to be a great place to wrangle a monster trout or pike. Our 22 ft pontoon charter boats are the perfect platform for targeting these fish and can cater a trip that will please everyone from the avid angler to the entire family. With it’s proximity to Steamboat, Stagecoach offers a great way to view a mountain lake in style while catching the fish of a lifetime. Big Ed’s Fishing Ventures offers both half and full-day trips.

On a Big Ed’s Fishing Trip, we provide everything (Tackle, Rods, Reels, Etc..) The only thing we do not provide is a one-day fishing license available online.

In Colorado, you can buy your fishing license in two ways. You can deal directly with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission by calling their toll-free number (1-800-244-5613). You can also obtain a Colorado fishing license online through the CPW website.
